The Blue Tit is a common bird we often see in the countryside and gardens, but during the colder winter months you can also see them in reedbeds, looking for food sources such as insect larvae.

The call of the Iberian Chiffchaff is very distinct. We were lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time. We heard it calling just after we got out of the car. So, finding it in the woods wasn't too difficult.

Jays are a member of the Corvid family, however, they're far more colourful than crows. I love those blue feathers on the wings and have even managed to find one on a woodland walk.
