EVENT OUTLINE
The event is from 10:30 to 14:30 and will be split into three sections:
- The first two hours will be spent wandering in nature at a easy gentle pace, focusing on mindfulness and meditation. There'll be opportunities to sit and rest during that time for those that wish to.
- This will be followed by a comfort break, a rest for lunch, but also the opportunity to discuss the first part of the day and ask any questions.
- Although I shall interject information on stress and healing throughout the first part of the day, the final section will be more focused on this, and talking about Conscious Questions. During that time, there'll be a mix of time spent seated and meandering some more in nature.

FEEDBACK FROM PREVIOUS WELL-BEING WANDERS
"My time spent at Woods Mill on a ‘Well Being Wander’ was enjoyable and informative. Lisa gave me a lot of guidance and information to help me through what is probably one of the most difficult times in my life.
A day of mindfulness and healing is relaxing and calming, but I think it’s just as important to leave with ideas and methods you can actually use every day, so the day’s experience makes a real difference in your life going forward.
Being in a nature reserve was an ideal location as it gives you the headspace to get away from everyday life and “to do” lists. As someone who finds it hard to slow down and do less, I found some things challenging but, being surrounded by trees, birds and butterflies and in a quiet space, it helped me focus in a way that’s quite hard to achieve at home.
Lisa guides you with genuine encouragement and support, while still giving you space — nothing ever feels pressured. I highly recommend this day to people who feel they can’t switch off their minds."

FEEDBACK FROM PREVIOUS EVENTS
"I really enjoyed the walk and photography workshop, it was a great way to spend an afternoon and with such friendly company. Lisa was a terrific tutor, sharing her knowledge so easily and giving 1-2-1 advice too. I'm looking forward to putting everything I learned into action!"
TF, Bluebell Walk
"Thank you for a very informative bluebell walk. It was wonderful to be out in the woods surrounded by such lovely scenes. I learnt a great deal about composition, telling a story, natural frames and the rule of thirds. I thought the format worked so well with you having selected what to concentrate on at each different spot and there was plenty of time to practice before moving on. You made the learning we were to do very clear and your round up at the end was an excellent reminder of what we had covered. I went home feeling very positive and determined to get outside with my camera more often. Even if my photos were not all that I had wanted, having always found photographing the bluebell woods difficult, as the reality is always superior to photos, I have really enjoyed playing with them and looking for some evidence of new skills. Thanks for the feedback (on the photos I showed you) - it was useful!"

"I joined Lisa’s bluebell walk at the end of April. She had clearly done her homework as she led us to a number of different sites in the woods, all with blue (or white) bells, and other features to inspire our photographic talents.
Her photography tuition was light touch, accommodating posh cameras and iPhones. I learned a few key and simple principles, enabling me to “look” in a slightly different way, with lovely results. No intimidation, just friendly enthusiasm from the voice of experience. Highly recommended."
MC, Bluebell Walk
"What a super afternoon in April taking part in a bluebell photography walk ably led by our tutor Lisa. There were tips on composition, light and some basic techniques. Whether using a compact (D)SLR or phone camera, everyone was able to produce beautiful photographs. We all went away with a better understanding especially about the rule of thirds and leading lines. Already looking forward to the next event!"
EB, Bluebell Walk
"A very enjoyable session! Lisa is a natural teacher making learning informative and fun. I came away with lots of tips to help improve my photography in the future."
KT, Photography Workshop
"A very enjoyable morning! Lisa talked about and showed me how to get the best out of taking a photo on my iPhone. There was plenty of time to try out the newly acquired skills in between the tuition. Next step, is for me to go out there and put everything into practice!!"
