SQUIRRELS

The Red Squirrel (Sciurus vulgaris) is native to the UK but now can only be found on a few islands in England and in some parts of Northern England and Scotland. Unfortunately, their numbers have dropped massively since the introduction of the non-native species, the (Eastern) Grey Squirrel (Sciurus carolinensis).
