In August 2017 I went on a Borneo Adventure (Malaysia). I embarked on a two week tour with Exodus. We began in Kuching, the capital of Sarawak, and visited Bako National Park before flying up to Mulu National Park. From there on to Kota Kinabalu, the capital of Sabah, and to Kinabalu National Park, Sepilok, Danum Valley and Kinabatangan River. The latter three places on the tour were the best, as our wildlife viewings were amazing, in particular seeing orangutans, which was the main reason I went. When the tour was over, I went to Turtle Island National Park to witness the green turtles coming ashore to lay their eggs and to see hatchlings released on the beach, making their way to the water and the seas beyond. The whole two and a half weeks were amazing.

To the right you can see a short clip of Mike the orangutan we saw in Danum Valley, whilst he was eating high up in the canopy of the forest. (The video can also be seen from my YouTube Channel - Lisa G Saw)
